Learning AI: Games + Kids + Cleaning the Ocean
Do you want to teach your kids the basics of AI, for free, in a game-like way while learning the importance of protecting the oceans?
Try "AI for Oceans" by Code.org. It's a game that teaches AI using elements like: fish, trash and a cleaning AI robot in the ocean.

It's for kids but it also works great for adults wanting to understand AI. I used it with my parents to teach them the concept of AI and they loved it!
The Goal?
Help train an "AI robot" to identify fish or trash to clean up the ocean.
How does it Work?
At the beginning, the "AI robot" doesn't know if an object is a fish or trash.
You teach it to recognize patterns on its own: is the image a fish or trash?

After you train it, you can see if it knows what a fish looks like. For example, in the image below you can see that the robot incorrectly identified some objects as fish like the apple, the plastic bottle and the light-bulb.
Results of training the AI robot for a couple of minutes
The more you train the robot, the more it learns. You can train AI more by clicking on “Train More“.

When I was teaching kids how to code, I used some of the games in their website. They loved the Frozen game, where they learned the coding fundamentals with Anna and Elsa.
The great thing about Code.org is that:
It’s free and available in 25+ languages.
72 million students have learned on Code.org.
Educators can use it to teach their students.
